On March 21, our university held a mobilization meeting on the application of the “Dual Control” system construction service project and the training session on the application of its information system. Vice President Hu Xiaoguang attended the meeting and gave a speech. The relevant person in charge of Security Office made further arrangements, based on the project information system, for the future risk control and hidden danger investigation in the whole university. The relevant staff of all departments and colleges attended the meeting.
The “Dual Control” system construction service project is an important symbol of the standardisation, informatisation and specialisation of risk grading and control, of hidden danger management mechanism (i.e. “Dual Control”) infrastructure. Through the establishment of risk assessment, control and announcement systems and information systems, the project realizes the informatization, gridding and full staffing of the “Dual Control” work, in order to eliminate the potential risks to the greatest extent and to ensure the safety of teachers and students.
Vice President Hu Xiaoguang emphasized in his mobilization speech that, firstly, we should fully understand the concept of “Dual Control” and raise awareness, adhere to the political standpoint, change working concept, innovate working method and enhance the sense of responsibility. Secondly, we should strengthen the organization and leadership, and reinforce the main responsibility of the related leading group in each department. Thirdly, we should strengthen the supervision to achieve the normal inspection of the daily safety risks and of the hidden dangers. Fourthly, we should strengthen the assessment mechanism, integrate the safety work into the assessment indicators.
After the mobilization, experts from our “Dual Control” system construction service project conducted training for all school safety officers and grid operators on the operation of the project information system platform.
