In order to summarize experience, commend the advanced, and strongly promote the full, smooth, and high-quality employment of 2023 graduates, our university held the 2022 Graduates’ Employment and Entrepreneurship Work Commendation Conference & the 2023 Graduates’ Employment and Entrepreneurship Work Promotion Conference on March 21, with the attendance of Chen Liang, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Feng Baoqiang, Vice President. The Department of Students affairs, the main principals of each secondary college, the directors of each professional teaching and research section, all graduating class counselors, employment contacts, and outstanding employment mentors attended the conference.
Chen Liang awarded medals and certificates of honor to exemplary units, exemplary individuals and outstanding employment tutors in employment work, fully recognized the employment staff of secondary schools and the whole university to overcome difficulties and successfully complete the employment task in 2022, which greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of the whole university to share a new chapter in employment and entrepreneurship work.
On the basis of analyzing and judging the current employment situation, Feng Baoqiang focused on strengthening the construction of the employment market, deeply promoting “visiting enterprises and expanding posts”, improving the quality of employment services, making every effort to do a good job in employment guidance and assistance, deepening employment and entrepreneurship reform, and comprehensively promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education for 2023 graduates. He made a unified deployment of employment and entrepreneurship work. He emphasized that all secondary colleges and the Department of Students Affairs should further strengthen coordination and linkage, implement responsibilities, and perform their respective duties, so as to jointly promote the employment and entrepreneurship work of our university to a new level.
In recent years, based on its own school-running orientation and focusing on the reality of transformation and development, our university has accumulated consensus and coordinated progress, skillfully constructing an employment and entrepreneurship work system that is compatible with the cultivation of applied talents, and achieved remarkable achievements. The implementation rate of the graduation destination of our graduates has ranked first in the province’s universities for two years on end. The year 2023 is the first year for our university to implement the “1396” development strategy. Participants expressed their commitment to unswervingly shoulder the task of employment and entrepreneurship work, fully ensure the stability of the employment situation of 2023 graduates, and make due contributions to the university’s “secondary entrepreneurship” to achieve new development and leapfrog.
