In order to effectively meet the needs of regional economic and social development, promote practical teaching and the employment of graduates, on the morning of March 23rd, Party Secretary Chen Liang led the leadership and teacher representatives of the Law School to Shijiazhuang Shunkang Hospital and Shijiazhuang Shunkang Nursing Home for “visiting enterprises and expanding positions” to develop school-enterprise cooperation. Nie Jiangang, president of Shijiazhuang Shunkang Hospital, Xin Jun, president of Shijiazhuang Shunkang Nursing Home, and others attended the event. Secretary Chen Liang and president Xin Jun jointly unveiled the practice base. Sun Yingwei, dean of the Law School, and Zhang Quanhua, vice president of the Nursing Home, signed a joint construction agreement on the “Practical Teaching Base of Shijiazhuang University”.
At the symposium, Chen Liang introduced our school’s positioning, development process, and the newly formulated “1396” development strategy, that indicates the school’s commitment to implement a main line, focus on three comprehensive aspects, pursue nine projects, and create six scenarios, in order to further strengthen the cultivating ability of practical personnel, promote students’ innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities, and enhance school’s strength of open education. He emphasized that this activity of “visiting enterprises and expanding posts” and jointly building a practice base are an important measure to implement the school’s “1396” development strategy and dock with the three-year action plan for strong provincial capital strategy, which is beneficial to realizing the complementary advantages of social work professional talent training and the development of Shunkang Nursing Home, and promoting the coordinated development of the elderly care service industry.
President Nie Jiangang introduced the situation of Shijiazhuang Shunkang Hospital and Shunkang Nursing Home, and hoped to take the opportunity of jointly building a practice base to promote the integrated development of elderly care service industry and social work talent training. President Xin Jun has high hopes for this cooperation and hopes that both sides will cooperate in multiple levels, fields, and forms in improving the new elderly care system.
Subsequently, Secretary Chen Liang and his delegation visited and investigated the elderly residential area, rehabilitation area, sand table room, social work room, and other facilities of Shunkang Nursing Home, and observed on-site voluntary service activities for the elderly there carried out by grade 2020 Law School students majoring in social work. Secretary Chen Liang and Dean Xin Jun of the nursing home affirmed the professional performance of the students, and both expressed the need to further deepen cooperation and strengthen the comprehensive quality cultivation of talents.
