In order to thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Party Central Committee and the State Council on “stabilizing employment” and “ensuring employment”, and fully play the role of the main channel for campus recruitment, on March 23rd, the special recruitment activity of college graduates in Hebei Province and the double selection meeting of 2023 graduates of Shijiazhuang University “Spring Warm Flowers Blooming” were held in the south campus of our school.
Zhao Aiping, the first level inspector of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Hebei Province, and Sun Fuqiang, the deputy director of Hebei Education Department, visited the university to guide the research and attended the 2023 graduate employment work forum of provincial capital universities, listening to reports on the progress and existing problems of the 2023 graduate employment work of some universities stationed in Shijiazhuang. Relevant leaders from the employment service departments of Hebei Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department, the Education Department, and Shijiazhuang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau participated in the survey. All school leaders of our school went deep into the recruitment venue to learn about the talent demand plan and recruitment situation of the employers in detail, and communicated with job-hunting students to encourage graduates to actively seek employment.
In an interview with provincial and municipal media, Chen Liang, Secretary of the Party Committee, pointed out that the school attaches great importance to the employment of graduates, mainly focusing on strengthening the “top notch” project to ensure that organization and leadership are in place; strengthening the participation mechanism of all employees to ensure that responsibilities are implemented in place; strengthening the adjustment of professional structure to ensure that employment priority orientation is in place; strengthening the construction of service systems to ensure that employment guidance and assistance are in place; strengthening the monitoring of employment status and ensure that employment data statistics are in place. The school will continue to firmly grasp the school-running orientation of “localization, application, and internationalization”, “based in Shijiazhuang, facing Hebei Province, and radiating Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei”, aiming at cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents for local economic and social development, optimizing the professional settings, improving the quality of talent cultivation, and continuously improving the contribution and support to the economic development of the provincial capital.
The double selection meeting attracted 237 employers, including Jizhong Energy, Kelin Electric, Tonghe Electronics, Hebei Second Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. , China Shijiazhuang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (CSPC), Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., etc. to enter and recruit, providing 8700 jobs. Among them, 59% of the employers have a registered capital of more than 10 million yuan, 91% of the employers have a registered capital of more than 1 million yuan, and 74 labeled companies such as the World Top 500, China Top 100, and listed companies, accounting for 31%. More than 6000 graduates from our school and other Universities in Shijiazhuang have entered the field to seek employment. The conference was well prepared, the layout of the booth was reasonable, the service was meticulous and attentive, and the on-site crowd was numerous. It was widely praised by employers and job seekers.
